Gamification is the use of techniques, elements and game dynamics on non-recreational activities for the purpose of boosting motivation, as well as reinforcing behavior to solve a problems or achieve a goal.

Gamification can help improve user engagement, organizational productivity, flow, crowdsourcing, employee recruitment and evaluation, and it can be used in different departments across a common workplace.
